Water Rinse Between Soap Washes
What about just rinsing Fido with a strong hose? Will it get to the skin a bit and help reduce a portion of the smell? I realize soap cleans better, but one can't shampoo that often. Soap breeds like Labrador Retrievers have fur keeping the skin from getting wet. Yet a hose pointed to the fur might actually reach the skin? Thank You. Steven

Maybe pointing the hose in the opposite direction of the hair growth helps the water reach the skin? A Solano dog groomer might know the answer - yet it's not in their commercial interest to suggest that water hosing has much of any cleaning benefit even if done reasonably well. Although i do like the dog groomer across Allan Witt Park on West Texas Street - never used them.
