Dogs Shed Due To Light And Temperature Changes

Dogs shed hair for two main reasons.

Seasonal changes in the light pattern as the length of the day changes induce dog shedding. Temperature changes also cause dog shedding.

Many dogs shed hair all year long. Dogs get acclimatized to indoor temperatures, and their bodies have the right amount for that temperature. But when the canine goes in and out of the house, there is huge gap in the temperature - this is the most common reason for dog shedding all year long.
